Oscar Aquarium Odor Problem?
I've noticed a distinct foul smell coming from my Oscar's tank. He is the only one in there, I clean him twice a week, and there is a lot of carbon in the filter media. Anyone else have this issue? Is it normal? None of my other fish have this smell. He is perfectly healthy
Update:At the moment he is in a 40 gallon breeder while his bigger tank is cycling. The filter does 400 gph and I check the water everyday and everything comes back where it should be.

What are his water parameters? A well cared for tank should never smell but the fact that you have other tanks that don't smell says that you must at least be caring for them decently. Is the oscar in a big enough tank with enough filtration? They're very messy fish and produce more waste than most people are aware of.
