Good names for female huskies? Prefer goddesses.?
Well we just rescued our first ever puppy, a female 9 month old husky from our locsl SPCA. We have no idea what to name her! We like "Asteria" (in Greek mythology, helper of Artemis, moon goddess), but it didn't seem to sound well. We also considered Ada Aurora, but it just sounds way too cheesy. It doesn't have to be goddess name, but we like to have our pets' names have meaning. We have 3 cats, and all their names our goddesses of various cultures which fit their personality.
Our husky is very well behaved and mature (as mature as a little puppy can get LOL x'3), but she is also a lot of fun. She loves to cuddle. We would love a goddess that fits with this personality, makes sense, and doesn't sound to cheesy. It doesn't have to be Greek or Roman, for all we care, it could be Turkish (no idea if they had goddesses x'3). THANKS!
PS - It doesn't have to be a goddess name, but it should fit well for a frisky husky pup.

Isis is one of my favorites especially if your husky has the light blue eyes like mine.

Greek Goddess Names For Dogs
First of all, CONGRATS ON GETTING YOUR NEW PUPPY! Here are some dog names;
Aurora, Angel, Sabrina, Kara, Sophia, Nicole, Katie, Sarah, Moonlight, Honey, Sunshine, Sunset, Chrissy, Victoria, Maddy, and that's all I can really think of. Sorry for no goddess names, but this is usually what people name their dogs. If I did not help, then you can look online and search what kind of name you are looking for. Have fun with your new family member!
How about Freya, the Nordic Goddess of Love?
A Norse goddess seems appropriate for a husky name.
Athena is the goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, warfare, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, justice, and skill.
Wisdom- Matches her maturity
Courage, Strength and justice- because she is a rescued puppy she had courage and strength to not give up. and justice was served as it has found a loving home.
I think that the name of a godess better suits a beautiful dog like a husky.
You should check out this website it has very good descriptions of all godesses.
I personally like aphrodite the godess of love and beauty though.
Hope this helped you.
