Yahoo arbitrarily removing e-mail addresses from my contacts?
Just received an e-mail from yahoo (to which I cannot answer of course) telling me that they have removed e-mails from my contacts that are no longer valid!!! I would like them to leave my contact box alone and have reinstated the one e-mail address they quoted. What are the others they have arbitrarily removed?? I am furious. How dare they? I want them to restore all e-mails they have removed, please!

As part of our continuing effort to provide you with a better Yahoo! Mail experience, we want to make sure the mail you send gets to the friends, family or other contacts you are trying to reach. In support of this commitment, we have removed Yahoo! email addresses from your address book that are no longer valid. All other information remains part of your address book.
The emails were inactive are going to be recycled to new owners.
The same has happened to me this morning.
There seems to be no redress.
Not only have I lost the aide-memoire these emails represented, I've lost the information - addresses and telephone numbers - they also held.
It is a disgrace this goes on without consulting us.
Yahoo should be ashamed of themselves.
